Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery & Founding Partner
Dr. Philip Miller received a B.S. degree in Medical Sciences and an M.D. from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. After completing a mixed internal medicine internship at Kings County Hospital in New York, he then served a three-year residency in ophthalmology at the Affiliated Hospitals of the State University of New York. He was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1965. From 1965 to 1967 he served as the Chief of Ophthalmology at the U.S. Army Hospital, Augsburg, Germany. He then returned to the U.S. to begin his practice as an eye surgeon in South Orange, New Jersey . In addition to his practice, he also served as an attending at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for 50 years. Dr. Philip Miller was a partner with his son, Dr. Kenneth S. Miller, for over 20 years.
